So this week I have found myself not doing my tumbling how I was intended to do. I say this because this week I have been finding myself not locking my arms out in my back handspring and I end up falling onto my face/stomach. Today (10-4-17) I will be going to cheer practice and my cheer coach Laura Kiricoples will be helping me and spotting me to see what I have done wrong and what I am doing right. One thing that my cheer coach had noticed was that whenever I am doing my back handspring my chest drops. Which makes me tend to fall down on my stomach or make my tumbling passes "shorter". She told me that one way I could fix this problem is maybe by working out my core more and keeping my core tight and make sure I am pushing off the ground as hard as I can so that I can land it. Here's a video of Laura Kiricoples spotting my standing back handspring.
